Hi dear I appreciate the price rate of this type of games but you need more enjoyable services also and quick response so what the next plan do you have?
Am I crazy or is it just impossible to download the demo from this page? The demo release blog post implies there's a file to download but I cannot see a way to download it. I want to try the game but I'm not using steam for a demo.
Oh DANG! You're right. What happened there? I think I was meddling with something and outright deleted the file. Oops. I'm going to re-upload it! I know this comment was made around 19 hours ago, but... give me a few additional minutes!
I played through the demo and it was fun, my feedback though is that for most of the game I was just spamming attack because it felt like it wasn't worth wasting mp on the random encounters. Maybe having some optional minibosses sprinkled through the game as a way to experience more challenging fights could be good? The dinosaur special boss was fun and shows the combat can shine when you have reason to actually engage with the mechanics. Although related to that, I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the skill orb system. Felt kind of restrictive, each character only had 2-3 skills unlocked for most of the game so I ended up feeling like I'm already committed into one strategy rather than being able to shake things up mid-fight.
It'll PROBABLY be sold, but not for much. RPG Maker MV offered far more freedom, and the plug-ins and whatnot allowed me to spice up the gameplay in ways the older makers didn't. I'd been tossing the idea around in my head about remaking Scarmonde for a while, then said to heck with it! After To Aerthen, I wanted something that was class-based but also focused entirely on its gameplay... and remembered Scarmonde was just that!
I am the first to point a softblock in this game? After the first boss and getting out to the overworld, you can't re-enter the tower. So you can't go back and restock on weapons and goods in Scarmonde. The game still slaps due.:)
Hi, I'm about to start this game since I loved VENAITURA, is this game gonna get updated sometime in the future? I'd love to follow more of your projects and I LOVE how you handle class-systems! Big fan here lol
All you need to do is download the file above extract its contents into a folder you create on your Desktop (or wherever). Then click the "RPG_RT" file in that folder to play the game!
I love that this game uses DQ's NES graphics and music. I only played a little but I had a ton of fun. Keep up the good work! (and maybe next time use rm2000 so I can really feel like this is a new DQ for the NES hehe)

download file seems to be broken. the size of file is only 157MB.
Hi. This looks great. Does your project have rapiers and Estocs with "stab" animations?. Cheers I´m following your work, love the 8 bits style.
I love how I can punch things with the dancer class
Looking good
Cool, I really liked To Aerthen and really looking forward with this game even before overhaul. :)
Is this game gonna be sold or free?
Godspeed.
It'll PROBABLY be sold, but not for much.

I did some googling, but I'm afraid I'm not quite sure how to play this software. Is there a particular program I should be using?

Perfect, thank you so much! This is exciting!
