Dragon Fantasy
A downloadable game for Windows
The game that started it ALL for me.
I created Dragon Fantasy (Dragon Quest + Final Fantasy. Creative, right?) in 2006/7. I'd recently discovered RPG Maker, and became increasingly infatuated with making the fantastical worlds of my imagination come to life.
...Granted, I was only 15 at the time. I still had a LONG way to go in regards to presentation and fully planning a game from beginning to end, but this is the VERY FIRST PROJECT I completed using RPG Maker 2000 (for better or worse).
Despite me oftentimes wishing I could go back in time and fix so very many things, I still have to admit that without Dragon Fantasy I wouldn't have made near the amount of progress that I have. It's because of THIS GAME'S success my name got around a lot of RPG Maker communities at the time, and also why I am still intoxicated and very much in love with RPG Maker.
Have fun attempting to play a relic of the past and my first foray into the world of game development!

Doesn't work in Win 11. Game opens full screen but does not respond. Alt Enter to window brings up gender choice. Game does not respond to keyboard or mouse. Unplayable.
I remember downloading this off and on throughout the years in various places, but never actually finding the time to really sit down with it? I beat it just a second ago; was pretty nice just to enjoy a small piece of RM2K's history!
